Bisbee Community BLOOD DRIVE
Wednesday, February 10 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
As of today, we are low on the following blood types:
O negative (this type is especially low, and especially important, as it is the universal donor)
O positive
A negative
B negative
This is due to much lower donations during the holiday period, and higher usage at the hospitals. We are still trying to get stabilized, but it is a long process.
As always, we need ALL types to donate, and we need to hit the 35-unit goal, in order to keep a stable blood supply. If people know that they are these types, or they don't know their blood type, we especially need them to step forward at this time. We always encourage people to make and keep their appointments (arriving withing 10 minutes of their scheduled time) so that we may keep a smooth donor flow, but we will take walk-ins where we can.
